Part 1: Introduction to Architectural Drawings & Structural Framing Plan (30 mins)

❶  Overview of architectural drawings and key structural elements
❷  Understanding floor plans, elevations, and sections 
❸  Introduction to structural framing plan and its components (beams, columns, slabs, foundations).
❹   Explanation of load paths and their importance in design.

Part 2: Modeling the Structure in ETABS with All Necessary Checks (30 mins)

❶ Step-by-step process of modeling the structure in ETABS.
❷ Inputting geometry, materials, and boundary conditions.
❸ Assigning supports, constraints, and loads
❹ Performing initial checks to verify model accuracy.

Part 3:  Load Calculation and Assignments as per IS 456:2000 (30 mins)

❶ Overview of load types (dead, live, wind, seismic) per IS 456:2000.
❷ Calculating and assigning loads in ETABS.
❸ Applying load combinations for structural design.
❹ Ensuring correct load distribution in the model.

Part 4: Designing the Structure with Proof Checks & Interpretation of Results (30 mins)

❶ Running the design process in ETABS for beams, columns, and slabs.
❷ Performing proof checks to validate design adequacy.
❸ Interpreting analysis and design results (stresses, deflections, reinforcement).
❹ Reviewing design sheets, including reinforcement and member checks.
